Intuitive Daily Tarot - The Path of Inner Exploration

Exploring the depths of our emotions can be downright scary. So scary, that many of us are guilty of shoving them down, but what if by doing so, we were missing out on healing and growth?

You may notice a new deck in the image, compared the my last readings. The first two cards are Lenormand fortune telling cards, which I absolutely love. They are simple, yet direct and work so well with oracle cards. With that said, today's reading had a very important message to share.

The Fox represents self-preservation, self-care, and caution, as foxes are known to steal crops from farmers. It may sound odd to equate that to self-care, but they do this for survival.

The moon Lenormand card shows a moon hanging high above the sky, and as the moonlight shines through our windows as we are dreaming, it expands more so on our emotional and intuitive energies. Lenormand cards, unlike Tarot are typically read in pairs. So, the combination of the Fox and the Moon equates to the exploration of the emotions and the intuition.

What I thought was unique was that the Pilgrim archetype card also has a similar meaning. The Pilgrim is an explorer and when it comes to exploration, the Pilgrim archetype understands that our inward journey is just as important as our outward journeys. They long to constantly reach for more, never satisfied with the level they are currently at. Constant exploration means constant growth. When this card comes up- it encourages us to take a step on the side of adventure. In this case, we are being pushed to do some work on ourselves in regards to our emotions.

Oftentimes, we block out our emotions- because we were taught as children that emotions are negative. "Stop crying or I'll give you something to cry about," many of us heard growing up. Or, we learned at school and among our peers that when we showed emotion, it made others uncomfortable. So instead of feeling things- we push them down. When we do this, we cause them to begin to build pressure within us, which blocks us from healing, growth and learning new things about ourselves.

It takes true courage to face our emotions, especially when they are difficult. However, it's important as self-care. Many of us think of self-care as wine and baths, and while that can be self-care, the real self-care comes from us taking the necessary steps to become better versions of ourselves, even when it is scary.

Ultimately, exploring your emotions doesn't have to be scary. Actually, it can be an exciting adventure that rewards us with the highest version of ourselves. What could be cooler than that?

Remember, our spiritual journey does not have a destination, so we are either the Pilgrim or we are stagnant on our path. We will always be exploring ourselves, the world around us and the knowledge that is necessary for us to grow into our best selves. Tarot is a great tool for knowledge and so is the Lenormand cards and so are the Archetype cards. So, a major step towards understanding your emotions would be to get a reading done, either by yourself or from a reputable reader.

I am always happy to help of course, whether it be teaching you tarot or reading cards, or recommending someone to do either.

Enjoy the journey <3
